Embark on a profound 8-day journey that captures the very soul of India. This curated circuit traverses the "Spiritual Heritage Arc," beginning with the warmth of a traditional Indian household and winding through the most sacred sites of the Hindu and Buddhist faiths. From the newly radiant Ayodhya to the eternal ghats of Varanasi and the architectural masterpiece of the Taj Mahal, this tour offers a complete immersion into the faith, flavors, and history of North India.
Detailed Day by Day Itinerary
- Arrival: Arrive at Delhi International airport, meet your travel representative and driver, and transfer to your hotel. Today we will decide all activities as per your arrival time. If you are arriving morning than full day tour of Delhi, if afternoon arrival than half day tour and if evening arrival than just relax on the hotel.
- Delhi Tour: Visit Akshardham Temple, India Gate (War Memorial), Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's House), and Qutub Minar.
- Evening Dinner with family: Then, we welcome you to local Hindu family home to have one traditional Indian Thali dinner together with my family. It will be nice gossips and exchange of thoughts. - Overnight Stay: Delhi.
- Morning: Breakfast at hotel between 7 to 8 AM.
- Late Morning: Check-out hotel around 8:30 AM. As per flight time (10:50 AM), drive to airport around 8:30 AM to reach Delhi airport at 8:50 to 9 AM for flight to Ayodhya. Reach Ayodhya around 12:15 PM.As per flight arrival time, our driver will receive you in the Ayodhya airport and transfer you to the hotel. Relax.
- Evening: If you comfortable, we will take you Lata Mangeshkar Chawk, Ram Ki Paidi and Saryu Ghat for Aarti and local market with driver.
- Overnight Stay: Ayodhya.
Day 03 :
Ayodhya Darshan Tour with Guide
- Full Day: Dedicate the day to exploring the spiritual sites of Ayodhya.
- Sites: Perform Darshan at the new Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, visit Hanuman Garhi, explore Kanak Bhawan, Dashrath Mahal, Shree Nageshwar Nath Mandir, and Tulsi Smarak Bhawan and spend time on the Saryu River Ghats.
- Evening: Attend a local Aarti ceremony in Saryu River (If you wants to attend again or not visited yesterday).
- Overnight Stay: Ayodhya.
- Morning: Check out and drive towards Varanasi.
- Mid-day Stopover: Stop at Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad) for a few hours.
- Prayagraj Visit with driver: Head straight to the Triveni Sangam (the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers). Have Holy Snanam in Sangama. If you like, we will also take you to Bade Hanuman Ji Temple.
- Afternoon: Continue the drive from Prayagraj to Varanasi (approx. 3-4 hours).
- Evening: Check into your hotel in Varanasi.
- Overnight Stay: Varanasi.
- Early Morning: Enjoy a serene Sunrise Boat Ride on the River Ganga to witness the morning rituals (Puja, Yoga, bathing) on the ghats.
- Morning: Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor (one of the holiest Shiva temples) and walk through the ancient, narrow lanes of the city.
- Late Morning: Kaal Bhairav temple, Omkareshwar and other local street temples with Kashi Street visit.
- Afternoon: Take an excursion to Sarnath (approx. 10 km from Varanasi), the site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Dhamek Stupa and the Ashoka Pillar ruins. Also visit Bharat Mata Mandir (Mother India Temple).
- Evening: Attend the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
- Overnight Stay: Varanasi.
- Morning: Relax breakfast at hotel. As peryour flight time (11:35 AM), we will transfer you to the Varanasi airport.
- Afternoon: Our driver will receive from the airport around 01 PM and directly drive to Mathura.
- Evening: Reach Mathura. Hotel check-in and relax. If time available, we will take you to Yamuna Ghat aarti ceremony and also Prem Mandir as evening time lighting of this temple is incredible.
- Overnight stay: Mathura/Vrindavan
- Morning & Afternoon: Visit Shri Krishna Balaram Temple (ISKCON), Dwarkadheesh Temple, Shri Krishn Janam Bhoomi Mandir, Banke Bihari Temple.
- Evening: After completing Mathura – Vrindavan darshan, drive to Agra. Hotel check-in and relax.
- Overnight Stay: Agra.
- Morning: If you are fresh then start sunrise tour of Taj Mahal (6 AM). Its best time to see Taj Mahal due to sunrise effect on Taj Mahal. But if you are tired than we can start after breakfast around 8:30 AM. Then visit Agra Red Fort and after lunch, drive back to Delhi.
- Evening: If you reach Delhi on time, then we will take you to market for shopping (Shopping Mall visit) or you can visit some monuments (we will decide as per time availability and your interest).
- Airport transfer: As per your flight time, we will transfer you to the airport. Back to home with incredible memories of your spiritual trip of North India with Team Travel Astu.
