Tour Overview: The Grand Cultural Mosaic
Journey through the three distinct souls of India in one seamless 17-day expedition. This itinerary is a masterclass in contrast: beginning with the imperial grandeur of Delhi, the marble elegance of the Taj Mahal, and the royal pink corridors of Jaipur.
From the heart of Rajasthan, you’ll fly to the "City of Dreams," Mumbai, to witness the pulse of modern India and the colonial charm of the Gateway of India. The final chapter of your story unfolds in "God’s Own Country," Kerala. Here, the pace slows as you breathe in the cool air of Munnar’s tea estates, explore the spice-laden hills of Thekkady, and find ultimate peace aboard a traditional luxury houseboat as it glides through the emerald backwaters. This is more than a tour; it is a 17-day immersion into the history, glamour, and natural serenity that defines the Indian subcontinent.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding this trip
To ensure you spend more time exploring and less time on the road, this 17-day tour includes two domestic flights: one from Jaipur to Mumbai and another from Mumbai to Cochin. These short flights (approx. 2 hours each) make the vast distances between North and South India very manageable.
Yes, the pace of this 17-day journey is designed for comfort. We include private air-conditioned vehicles and 2-night stays in most cities to prevent "travel fatigue." The activities range from gentle heritage walks to relaxing boat cruises, making it ideal for all age groups.
Because India is so large, you will experience variety! North India is cool and dry (Oct–March), Mumbai is tropical and humid, and the Kerala hills (Munnar) can be quite chilly. We recommend packing light layers to stay comfortable in all climates.
You will have a dedicated private vehicle and driver for each regional segment. To give you the best expertise, we provide specialized local guides in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Kochi who are masters of their specific city’s history and hidden gems.
The houseboat (Kumarokom) stay in Alleppey is a highlight. It is a private boat with air-conditioned bedrooms and an onboard chef who prepares traditional Keralan meals. It is a slow, peaceful cruise through narrow canals and wide lakes.
In the North and South, many temples require modest dress (shoulders and knees covered). We suggest carrying a light scarf. Rest, your local guide will inform you of in advance about culture and ethics.
Absolutely! We curate a list of "safe-bet" premium restaurants that offer authentic flavors. In Mumbai, we can arrange guided "Safe Street Food" walks, and in Kerala, you will enjoy fresh, coconut-based coastal cuisine that is generally milder than Northern spices.
