Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this 19-day duration recommended for birders?

Yes. Travel Astu Pvt Ltd provides a dedicated English-speaking birding guide who understands the specific calls, habitats, and migration timings of the Trans-Himalayan avifauna.

Safety is our priority. Every Astu vehicle is equipped with emergency oxygen cylinders. We also structure the itinerary with a "gradual ascent" strategy to ensure you remain healthy and focused on your birding targets.

Absolutely. We manage all Protected Area Permits (PAP) and Inner Line Permits for restricted zones like Nubra, Pangong, and the Tso Moriri/Hanle regions.
