Day-to-Day Expedition Program
Touch down at Leh Airport. A Travel Astu representative will provide a seamless transfer to your hotel. After a morning of acclimatization, spend the afternoon visiting the Leh Palace, the Hall of Fame, and the Shanti Stupa for a panoramic sunset view.

A 104km journey through the Indus Valley. Visit the historic monasteries of Thiksey and Hemis with our licensed local guide. This day helps build your endurance and further acclimatizes your body for the river days ahead.

Drive to Phey to begin your first river leg. This section features Grade I and II rapids, passing through beautiful villages and monasteries visible from the water. Reach Nimoo, the confluence point of the Zanskar and Indus rivers.
