Day-to-Day Rider’s Itinerary

Touch down at Leh Airport. A Travel Astu representative will transfer you to your hotel. This is a crucial day for rest to adjust to the 3,500m altitude. In the evening, meet your Astu road captain for a bike briefing.

Overnight: Leh

Kick-start your engines and head west on the Leh-Srinagar highway. Visit Magnetic Hill and the Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar) before riding into the lunar-like terrain of Lamayuru.

Ride deeper into the Indus Valley to reach the Baima/Dahanu region. This area is home to the Brokpa tribe, believed to be pure descendants of the Aryan race, known for their distinct flower-adorned headgear.
