Day to day itinerary
Arrival: Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi. We will be there at airport to receive you pla-card of your name. After traditional welcome, transfer to hotel.
If you have morning flight, we will do Delhi tour with guide. Visit –
Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, India Gate, President House, Gandhi Museum etc.
Night in Delhi.
Morning: Packed breakfast and check-out. Start from hotel 6:30 AM. Then you'll be transferred to Delhi Airport Terminal 3 for your flight to Bagdogra, the nearest airport to Gangtok.
Afternoon: Upon arrival at Bagdogra, a scenic drive of approximately 4-5 hours will take you to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The journey offers breathtaking views of the lush green landscapes and the Teesta River.
Evening: Check into your hotel in Gangtok and relax. The evening is free for you to explore the local market, MG Marg, a bustling pedestrian-only street.

Morning: The day begins with a full-day city tour of Gangtok. Your first stop is the Rumtek Dharma Chakra Centre, one of Sikkim's largest and most significant monasteries, known for its unique architecture and sacred artifacts.
Afternoon: Visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a renowned center for Tibetan studies, and the serene Do Drul Chorten Stupa, a beautiful monument surrounded by prayer wheels. You will also visit the Hanuman Tok, a temple with panoramic views of the city.
Evening: Stroll through the Flower Exhibition Centre to witness a vibrant display of exotic flowers and orchids, a testament to Sikkim's rich flora.

Night in Gangtok.
Morning: After breakfast, you will begin your scenic drive to Pelling, a town known for its stunning views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range.
Afternoon: En -route, you may have the opportunity to stop at scenic spots like the Teesta River View Point or the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim's oldest and most important monasteries.
Evening: Arrive in Pelling and check into your hotel. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunset views over the snow-capped mountains from your room.
Night in Pelling.
Morning: Start your Pelling tour with a visit to the Pelling Skywalk, India's first glass skywalk, offering a thrilling experience and a fantastic view of the Chenrezig statue. Next, visit the majestic Kanchenjunga Falls and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, believed to fulfill wishes.
Also visit - Rabdentse Ruins, Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad, Darap village pelling, Orange Garden
Evening: After the tour, you'll drive to Darjeeling, the "Queen of the Hills". The winding roads offer spectacular vistas.
Arrive in Darjeeling and check into your hotel. The evening is at your leisure to explore the local area by your own.
Night in Darjeeling.
Early Morning: Wake up before dawn and drive to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. The first rays of sun illuminating the peaks in hues of orange and pink is an unforgettable sight. On your way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery, a significant Buddhist site.
Morning: Visit the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track with a war memorial, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), a museum dedicated to mountaineering. The institute is located within the same complex as the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, a high-altitude zoo that's home to rare species like the red panda. Also click photos near Tea Garden.
Afternoon: Take a ride on the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the Toy Train. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a charming and nostalgic journey through the hills. The ride covers the most scenic and significant section of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway: from Darjeeling Railway Station to Ghum and back. This segment includes the famous Batasia Loop and a stop at India's highest railway station, ensuring you don't miss any of the key sights.
Evening: Enjoy a stroll on the famous Mall Road, and perhaps visit the Japanese Peace Pagoda for a moment of tranquility.
If time permit, we will also do sightseeing of: Japanese Temple, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday)
Night in Darjeeling.
Morning: After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Bagdogra Airport for your flight to Kolkata. Its more than 3 hrs drive so kindly check-out after morning breakfast around 8:30 or 9:00 AM.
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Kolkata, you'll be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the nearby area.
Evening: Consider a walk along the Hooghly River at Prinsep Ghat to see the iconic Howrah Bridge illuminated at night.
Night in Kolkata.
Morning: Start your tour with the magnificent Victoria Memorial, a grand marble building dedicated to Queen Victoria. It houses a museum with a vast collection of artifacts from the British colonial era. Also visit the Dakshineshwar Kali Temple dedicated to goddess Kali (Dark Mother Goddess in Hinduism).
Afternoon: Visit the Indian Museum, one of the oldest and largest museums in India, and the St. Paul's Cathedral, a beautiful example of Indo-Gothic architecture.

Evening: Explore the vibrant and bustling New Market, a great place for shopping and experiencing local life.
Night in Kolkata.
Morning: Early morning, you'll be transferred to Kolkata Airport for your flight to Amritsar. Its more than 1 hrs distance to airport so please tell hotel for packed breakfast at 5 or 5:30 so that you can proceed from hotel at 5:30 or 6 AM.
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Amritsar, transfer to hotel, check into your hotel and have relax.
Evening: If you like, we will take you to Golden Temple Harminder Shahib temple with driver and also visit of local market which is beautiful there.
Night in Amritsar.
Morning: Begin your day with a visit to the Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib), the holiest shrine of Sikhism. Experience the serene and spiritual atmosphere, and witness the selfless service of the community kitchen (Langar), which serves thousands of free meals daily.
Shree Durgiana Temple - a 16th century temple of Goddess Durga (Goddess of wealth).
Afternoon: Visit the Jallianwala Bagh, a public garden that commemorates the site of the 1919 massacre. The bullet marks on the walls are a poignant reminder of India's freedom struggle. Also visit Gurudwara Shaheed Ganj Sahib and Gurdwara Baba Atal Sahib (If time permit)
Evening: The evening is dedicated to the unforgettable Wagah-Attari Border Ceremony. Witness the "Beating Retreat" ceremony, a daily military practice where the Indian and Pakistani border forces perform a synchronized and passionate march before sunset.
Night in Amritsar.
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a scenic road journey to Dharamshala, a hill station in Himachal Pradesh and the home of the Dalai Lama. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours.
Afternoon: Arrive in Dharamshala and check into your hotel.
Evening: Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of this spiritual town and you can also visit local Mcleod Ganj market.
Night in Mcleod Ganj.
Morning: Explore McLeod Ganj, a suburb of Dharamshala often referred to as "Little Lhasa" due to its large Tibetan population. Visit the Tsuglagkhang Complex, the official residence of the Dalai Lama. The complex includes the Dalai Lama's temple, a museum, and other sacred sites.
Afternoon: Visit the Bhagsunag Temple and take a short hike to the beautiful Bhagsu Waterfall. You can also visit the St. John in the Wilderness Church, a beautiful Anglican Church set in a serene forest.
Evening: Enjoy the local cafes and markets of McLeod Ganj, offering a unique blend of Tibetan and Himachali culture.
Night in Mcleod Ganj.
Morning: Begin your long but picturesque drive from Dharamshala to Manali. The journey will take you through stunning valleys, winding roads, and scenic landscapes.
Afternoon: The drive is approximately 7-8 hours, with stops for lunch and photo opportunities.
Evening: Arrive in Manali and check into your hotel. The evening is free to relax and prepare for the next day's adventures. Or you can go Mall road local market.

Morning: Begin your Manali tour with a visit to the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, known for its unique pagoda-style architecture. Then, head to the serene Vashisht Village, famous for its hot springs and ancient temples.
Afternoon: Drive to the picturesque Solang Valley, a hub for adventure sports. Depending on the season, you can enjoy activities like paragliding, zorbing, or skiing. (Otional)
Evening: Stroll through the bustling Mall Road of Manali, where you can shop for local handicrafts and sample Himachali cuisine.
Night in Manali.
Morning: Depart from Manali for the scenic road journey to Shimla. The drive offers magnificent views of the changing landscape, from lush green valleys to pine-covered hills.
Afternoon: The journey is approximately 7-8 hours.
Evening: Arrive in Shimla and check into your hotel. In the evening, take a relaxing walk on the famous Shimla Ridge.
Night in Shimla.
Morning: Explore the colonial charm of Shimla. Visit the Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located on the highest peak of Shimla, offering panoramic views of the entire valley via the Jakhoo Ropeway.
Afternoon: Visit Kufri (situated at an altitude of 8630 ft. / 2630 m among the foothills of the Himalayas), a one-hour drive from Shimla. Kufri is a popular adventure destination in India famous for its trekking and hiking trails as well as skiing activities.
Stroll along the Mall Road, Shimla's main street, and visit the Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India.
Viceregal Lodge: Explore the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, formerly the Viceregal Lodge, to experience Shimla's colonial past.
Evening: Enjoy the stunning sunset views from the Ridge and explore the local shops.
Night in Shimla.
Morning: Experience a memorable ride on the Shimla-Kalka Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The train winds through numerous tunnels and bridges, offering a unique perspective of the Himalayan foothills.
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Kalka, you will be transferred by road to Chandigarh, India's first planned city. (1.5 hrs drive)
Evening: Arrive in Chandigarh and check into your hotel. Relax and unwind.

Morning: Begin your tour of Chandigarh with a visit to the Rock Garden, a unique sculpture garden created by Nek Chand using industrial and home waste.
Afternoon: Explore the serene Sukhna Lake, a perfect spot for boating and a leisurely walk. Later, visit the Capitol Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes the Secretariat, Assembly, and High Court, designed by the famous architect Le Corbusier.
Evening: Visit the Open Hand Monument, a symbol of peace and reconciliation, also designed by Le Corbusier.
Night in Chandigarh.
Morning: Enjoy a relaxed morning in Chandigarh.
Afternoon: Transfer to the Chandigarh Railway Station for your train journey to Ranthambore. The train journey will provide a great opportunity to witness the changing landscapes of North India.
Night: Arrive at Sawai Madhopur, the nearest station to Ranthambore, and transfer to your wildlife resort.
Night in Ranthambore.
Morning: The morning is free to relax and settle into your resort. You can enjoy the natural surroundings and the amenities of the hotel.
Afternoon: Get ready for your first thrilling wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park. The park is one of the best places in India to spot Tigers in its natural habitat. The safari will be in a shared jeep or canter, with an experienced guide.
Evening: Return to the resort and relax.
Night in Ranthambore.
Morning: Rise early for the morning safari. This is often the best time to spot a tiger as they are more active in the cooler hours.
Afternoon: After a break for lunch and relaxation, you'll embark on your final safari in the afternoon. Each safari offers a different experience and the chance to spot not only tigers but also other wildlife like leopards, sloth bears, and various species of deer and birds.
Evening: Enjoy a farewell dinner at the resort, celebrating your wild encounters.
Night in Ranthambore.
Morning: After a relaxed breakfast, check out from your resort and begin the road journey to Agra.
Afternoon: Reach Agra and hotel check-in.

Evening: Free to visit market or you can also visit Mehtab Garden or attend Mohabbate-A-Taj live show (Supplement cost)
Night in Agra.
Morning: Check-out around 5 AM as its early morning train. We or you will request hotel for packed breakfast at 5 AM. Then you'll be transferred to the Agra Railway Station for your morning train to Varanasi. The journey will take 7 hours. Your breakfast and lunch is included in the train.
Afternoon: The train journey offers a great way to see the vast and varied landscape of rural North India.
Evening: Upon arrival in Varanasi, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later in the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti with guide, a spiritual ritual performed at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. The sight of thousands of diyas (oil lamps) floating on the Ganges is truly magical.
Night in Varanasi.
Early Morning: Rise before dawn for a serene boat ride on the Ganges River. Witness the sunrise over the river and observe the rituals of life and death being performed on the ghats (steps leading to the river).
Morning: After the boat ride, walk through the narrow alleyways of Old Varanasi, a maze of small temples, street shops, and houses. You will also see Hindu last ritual on the ghat here. Also we will take you to Nepali temple, Shiva Temple, Durga Temple there. Back to hotel and have breakfast and then relax.
Afternoon: Take a short drive to Sarnath, a significant Buddhist site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, the ruins of ancient monasteries, and the Ashoka Pillar, the national emblem of India. Also visit the Mother India Temple (Bharat Mata Mandir) in Varanasi is a unique monument dedicated to the personification of India as a mother goddess, rather than a specific deity.
Evening: Enjoy a final evening in Varanasi, perhaps attending another Ganga Aarti (if you like to go again) or exploring the local markets.

Morning: After a leisurely breakfast, you'll be transferred to Varanasi Airport for your flight back to Delhi.
Afternoon: Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Evening Cooking & Cultural Exchange in Dwarka: Drive to Dwarka for a warm family meeting and cooking demonstration with a local Hindu family. Share laughter, stories, and engaging conversation with the family and children before sitting down to enjoy an authentic Indian dinner together.
Back to hotel and night in Delhi.
As per your flight time, we will transfer you to the airport for fly back home. Back to home taking with you the incredible memories of your journey through the diverse and enchanting landscapes of India with Team Travel Astu.
